China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) is the largest and most influential SME fair in China, approved by the State Council of China for the development of SMEs. It aims to build a platform for display, trade, exchange and cooperation of SMEs at home and abroad to promote  development of SMEs.

Since its establishment in 2004, the CISMEF has been successfully held for 18 sessions in Guangzhou. In the 2023 session, this event participated by more than 40 countries and received more than 100,000 public and trade visitors. Exhibitors in CISMEF from around the world clinched deals valued at more than 10 billion yuan in direct procurement, financing, industrial collaborations and investment agreements during the event.

In-conjunction with the 50th Anniversary of Malaysia-China Relations this year, Malaysia has been honored and selected as the co-host country for CISMEF 2024. MATRADE as the collaboration partner together with Quantum Atlas Sdn Bhd as the official agent and event manager for Malaysia Pavilion in CISMEF 2024, cordially invite Malaysian SMEs and exporters to participate and promote Malaysian products and services in this trade fair. Participating Malaysian companies entitle for the Market Development Grant (MDG) reimbursement by MATRADE (subject to the term and conditions) as well as a ready pool of more than 200,000 potential Chinese buyers.

 

To ensure the success of this project, a comprehensive promotion campaign is put in place by the Organizers, MATRADE and Quantum Atlas Sdn Bhd which will include social media platform such as KOL, Tik Tok, Wechat, live streaming etc apart from the normal conventional media.

Targeted sectors within the Malaysia Pavilion are Manufacturing Products, Food & Beverages, Health & Beauty, Fashion, Crafts, Gifts, Tourism, and other business services.

 

The Tourism Sector will derive significant and immense benefits since the waiver of visa for both countries, as such a good number of exhibition booths can be made available for promotion, for relevant parties concerned.
